(The Original) Fulton’s Fish Frye (New York, New York – Las Vegas, NV)

2015-07-14 By Heather

Fulton Fish Frye Las Vegas Restaurant

We are always looking for budget friendly places to eat in Las Vegas. There are a load of websites and bloggers that cover budget restaurants there in detail. This is just our perspective on Fulton’s Fish Frye.

It was a late night last year when we found Fulton’s Fish Frye. We found it by accident when we walked from the MGM Grand over to the New York New York. Our doctor had recommended another restaurant over there, so we ventured over the bridge to the small “village” of quick bites.

We fell in love and could’t wait to get back to Fulton’s Fish Frye! The fish is so fresh and the breading is crisp. They have a good assortment of meals and seafood items, including chowder in a bread bowl. The prices range from $9 – $15 or so, depending on what you order.

Establishment

Fulton’s Fish Frye is part of quick bites in New York New York. The restaurant is made to look like it is located on a New York City side street in an ethnic neighborhood. Having been to NY a few times, I can say they did a decent job of making you feel like you are in NYC. The only things missing are the smells and trash bags…and I didn’t miss those at all!

The restaurant is brightly lit with a large fish, so you can’t miss it. Their menu is varied and has something for just about everyone that likes seafood.

Finding budget friendly food in Las Vegas on The Strip isn’t the easiest thing to do. We very happily surprised by this place. It didn’t break the wallet!

Service

My husband usually does the ordering, but he has never had an issue. The staff is well organized, the lines move quickly (if there are any), and they want to please. We have asked for extra tartar sauce many times and they never have an issue with that.

The food gets prepared in about ten minutes. They cook it as it is ordered, from what I can tell. At least that is how they do the fish n chips.

Food

We always get the Fish, Chicken, and Shrimp Basket. It comes with 2 large pieces of cod, two pieces of fried chicken strips, and 2 fried shrimp along with fries, coleslaw, and hushpuppies. We have never been able to finish the entire basket, and that is the two of us!

Fulton Fish Frye Las Vegas Restaurant

That basket, plus two drinks, runs about $14.

If you want a more detailed run down of the food, you can check out Follow Me Foodie’s review of Fulton’s Fish Frye.If you are on a budget, and even if you aren’t on a budget, Fulton’s Fish Frye is worth eating at while in Vegas. The fish is fresh and steamy hot. The portions are large, and one meal is more than enough for two people. The only tricky part is finding a table, especially if you have a large party.
