A favorite fall pie flavor rolled into bite sized balls and spiked with spiced rum!
Pumpkin Pie Spiced Rum Balls
Ingredients
- 1 3 cups Vanilla Wafers ground (1 box)
- 1 cup Ground / Crushed Pecans
- 1 cup + 2/3 cup Powdered Sugar
- 1 Tbsp. + 1/8 tsp. Pumpkin Pie Spice
- ¼ cup + 1 Tbsp. Light Brown Sugar
- 1/8 Cup Pumpkin
- 3 Tbsp. Light Corn Syrup
- ½ cup Spiced Rum
Instructions
- Grind nuts and wafers.
- Pour into large mixing bowl and add 1 cup powdered sugar.
- Add 1/4 cup brown sugar.
- Mix thoroughly.
- Combine together corn syrup, pumpkin, and 1 tablespoon pumpkin pie spice.
- Pour over dry mixture.
- Work in wet ingredients with a fork or pastry cutter tool (like you would with butter) until crumbly.
- Add spiced rum.
- Work together until combined and can be rolled into small balls.
- Combine powdered sugar, 1 tablespoon brown sugar, and 1/8 teaspoon pumpkin pie spice.
- Using a tablespoon or small scoop, take dough and roll into 1 inch balls.
- Roll dough in powdered sugar mixture and lay on wax paper in a lightly open container.

Grind wafers.
Place nuts in a blender.
Grind nuts.
Pour ground wafers and nuts into large mixing bowl.
Add 1 cup powdered sugar and 1/4 cup brown sugar.
Mix thoroughly.
Pour corn syrup, pumpkin, and 1 tablespoon pumpkin pie spice into a bowl.
Combine together corn syrup, pumpkin, and 1 tablespoon pumpkin pie spice. (Note: Don’t let the appearance deter you!)
Add to dry mixture. (Note: Don’t let the appearance deter you!)

Add spiced rum.
Work together until combined and can be rolled into small balls.
Combine powdered sugar, 1 tablespoon brown sugar, and 1/8 teaspoon pumpkin pie spice.
Mix thoroughly.
Using a tablespoon or small scoop, take dough and roll into 1 inch balls.
Roll dough in powdered sugar mixture.
Lay finished balls on wax paper on a plate or in a lightly open container.
Store in an air tight container after airing overnight.
