Oh come, let us worship and bow down; Let us kneel before the LORD our Maker.
[Psa 95:6 NKJV]
It’s been a rough start to the new year for many of us. For me, it has been days at a time of headaches from stress. It doesn’t take much to put me out of commission for a full day or more.
Times like this are when we truly must kneel at the cross. We look to Christ for our strength because nothing else will work.
Bended knees have a negative meaning these days in a world that doesn’t know Christ. For the Christian, the believer in Christ and His redemption, going to our knees needs to be our first action. We don’t kneel for a cause. We kneel for our faith in reverence to the only who can save us from literal, eternal hell.
On this earth we will see and experience troubles, but Christ overcame them all for us at the cross.
For whatever is born of God overcomes the world. And this is the victory that has overcome the world–our faith.
[1Jo 5:4 NKJV]
Thank you, Lord!
We kneel in prayer and raise our hands to you. You are awesome and wonderful. You know our every struggle and every pain. Be with us, Lord, as we battle the spiritual and physical in this world. Give us strength until you come for your bride. Thank you for overcoming the world for us so we can be with you in eternity!
In Jesus Name, Amen.
