Apples

Topping

  • Mix brown sugar and butter in large bowl.
  • Stir in 1 flour, the oats, salt and baking soda.
  • Pour over top of apples and cover evenly.

  • Chill in fridge for 2-3 hours.

Steps

Heat oven to 350°F.

Spray bottom of 13×9-inch pan with cooking spray.

Place Oreos in a food processor.

Pulse until they look like crumbs. (Note: Make sure there are no large chunks, as they won’t cook as nicely into the crust. Although, there is such a thing as Chunky Monkey Ice Cream, so I suppose you could have Chunky Oreo Crust…or not. *wink*)

Transfer Oreo crumbs from food processor to a large mixing bowl.  Add butter and blend into mixture using fork or pastry blender.

Stir in egg until mixture is crumbly.

Press mixture into the bottom of a greased, 9×13 pan. Peel apples.

Core apples.

Dice apples.

Pour over top of crust.

Pour Caramel Flavored Ice Cream Sauce over top of apples.

Mix brown sugar and butter in large bowl.

Stir in flour, the oats, salt and baking soda.

Pour over top of apples and cover evenly.

Bake for 25-30 minutes.

Chill in fridge for 2-3 hours.
